Cancellation clause - Wedding

1. The parties agree that this car rental contract may be terminated by either party with a notice period of 3 weeks.

2. In the event of termination, the terminating party must notify the other party in writing using a reliable means of communication such as email.

3. In the event of early termination, the terminating party may be required to pay cancellation fees of up to 250.-.

General rental terms for the Dodge Viper GTS and Bentley Continental GT

1. Rental fees

The renter undertakes to pay the costs related to the use of the car and to pay the agreed price before receiving the vehicle. A deposit of 2'000.- must be paid by bank transfer or cash, together with the selected rental package price, at least 72 hours before the rental. This also confirms the booking.

2. Renter responsibilities

All fines and penalties resulting from traffic violations during the rental period are solely the responsibility of the renter. The renter assumes full responsibility for offences committed and their consequences.

3. Rental duration

If the vehicle cannot be returned at the scheduled time due to delay or other issues, the renter must inform Despont Oldtimer immediately. Any delay will be charged at 150.- per hour.

4. Vehicle pickup and return

At each pickup, the renter and Despont Oldtimer must inspect the condition of the vehicle, and the same applies upon return. Any damage must be reported and recorded in the rental contract. Without such record, damage found upon return will be charged to the renter.

5. Vehicle use and maintenance

The renter must take proper care of the vehicle and keep it in good condition throughout the rental period. The renter remains fully responsible for any damage, including beyond the deductible, in the event of abusive use or any use not compliant with road traffic regulations.

This includes, among other things, burnouts, using launch control, driving on a track, or harsh acceleration and braking that may cause abnormal tyre wear or brake damage.

Refuelling is the sole responsibility of the renter. Required fuel: unleaded 98.

Smoking or consuming food inside the vehicle is strictly forbidden. In case of non-compliance, the renter must pay cleaning fees charged by Despont Oldtimer or another cleaning company, up to 100.- per hour. Subletting is prohibited.

6. In case of accident

The renter must provide all information necessary or useful for establishing the facts and completing an accident report on site. The renter must call the police and notify Despont Oldtimer immediately.

Necessary repairs will be carried out by an approved workshop chosen by the lessor. No repairs or modifications may be carried out without the prior written consent of the lessor. In the event of urgent external repairs, the renter must obtain written approval from the lessor before taking any action.

The invoice for these repairs must be issued in the name of the lessor. If the vehicle is immobilised for repairs, the renter must pay the lessor a daily compensation equivalent to the rental rate for each day of unavailability.

In the event of damage, a deductible of 1'000.- will be charged to the renter.

7. Insurance

In the event of damage, the renter bears a deductible of CHF 1'000.-. In all cases, the insurer or Despont Oldtimer may seek recourse against the renter.

8. Alcohol and drugs

In the event of an accident occurring while the renter is under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, the renter assumes full responsibility for all damage caused. Any trip outside Switzerland must be authorised in writing by Despont Oldtimer.

9. Engine failure

The renter must contact Despont Oldtimer directly to find a solution. If the vehicle can no longer be driven safely, the renter will be fully refunded in the event of a problem. Despont Oldtimer declines all responsibility for any direct or indirect damage suffered by passengers due to a malfunction of the car.

10. Lessor liability

Despont Oldtimer cannot be held liable, whether towards the renter or any other party, for any damage occurring as a result of an accident during the rental period.

11. Contract performance

For any damage to the interior or exterior of the vehicle below CHF 1'000, the costs will be borne by the renter without reporting to the insurer.

12. Vehicle return

The vehicle must be returned at the scheduled time, with the fuel tank filled (unleaded 98), and subject to a vehicle condition inspection.

13. Cancellation deadlines

Despont Oldtimer reserves the right to cancel the booking in case of rain 24 hours before the rental. The amount paid by the renter will then be converted into a gift voucher. After this deadline (less than 24h), the rental is entirely lost.

14. Data protection

The information collected under this contract (such as name, address, contact details, payment information, driving licence, etc.) is used exclusively for rental contract management, invoicing, insurance and, if necessary, the processing of any claim or legal proceedings related to the performance of the contract.

This data will only be transmitted to third parties to the extent strictly necessary for the performance of the contract (for example, to the insurance company or competent authorities in the event of an offence or accident).
